I spy... Brandy Melville.

If I just walked up to you and started a conversation with the line "Oh hey, I was doing a spot of shopping on Kings Road the other day", you may come to the conclusion that I had quite a bit of money to spend. I mean, Chelsea isn't exactly the cheapest place to shop. Primarni isn't permitted - and if you've not got the latest Marc Jacobs bag slouched on your arm, then you may feel a bit out of place. One of my favourite shops on Kings Road is Anthropologie. Even that can be quite pricey... but a girl gotta have what a girl gotta have! Any who, this is not a post about Anthropologie (even though I literally want everything in that shop). No. This is about an Italian gem that I fortunately stumbled upon in 2012... and just before Christmas I bought a few items that I would LOVE to share with you!

Brandy Melville. Stores in the USA, Europe and Canada. The first store to open in the UK is located on Kings Road - home to the wealthier specimen. Any excuse to act posh is fun, right? Think Urban Outfitters... but a lot slouchier and just so much more irresistible. All items are handmade in Italy. Oh, a minute detail: One size fits most. Every item is one size. From the skirts to the shirts. Do you know why else I have fallen for this boutique? Even though it is set in the diamond encrusted street that is Kings Road, the prices are just as reasonable as high streets shops like Topshop and River Island. Now, hasn't that made you smile? I know it has me.

I recommend this shop so highly that if, by some mysterious twist of fate, I meet you one day and you have not been to this shop - I will drag you down there myself. It is worth your precious time! And it is worth every penny!!

Two months later...

So 2 months after my last post (sorry about that) and I am back. For how long, I am not sure; but hey, I'm here right now in the present. Please forgive my absence? School + coldness + not being botheredness has kept me away and I really do want to update this blog more, but finding moments to make it happen seems impossible. Never the less, I will try and upload some interesting posts sooooooon - in between studying for my many exams and watching past seasons of Gossip Girl.

Here are some snapshots from the last 2 months:

Fresh fruit, a new outfit, a trip to Brighton, tea ad a magazine, snow in March, new Nike, more tea and a magazine, lovely breakfast foods. That sums up my life to be honest.

Nailed it: Ice cold!

London is still covered in snow, frost and air colder than Spencer Pratt's heart... so today I decided to wear a nail colour to match. Models Own in the shade Dream Stream is an electric blue injected with glitter; making sure that your nails sparkle just like the frost covering my bedroom window. I love the shimmer effect it leaves and it was extremely easy to apply! Don't you just hate thick, gloopy polishes? Well Dream Stream is the perfect consistency - just like most of the Models Own nail polishes.

Why not give it a try? It is now only £3.00 (!!) from ASOS.

Comment below or send pictures to my Twitter if you try this or any other ice cold nail polish. I'd love to see!

Speaking of Spencer Pratt earlier on in the post, has anyone been watching Celebrity Big Brother? Over the past few years I had stopped watching (it was getting way too monotonous), but as soon as I heard Spiedi had entered the house* (*correction: dingy basement) I had to watch it! My withdrawal symptoms from The Hills ending are still lingering, so I guess being able to watch the villainous couple take over the UK is helping fill the whole MTV created in my heart. Spencer got his way with splitting up Lauren and Heidi, but will he get what he wants this time and win CBB 2013? I guess only time will tell.
