Revlon Review

Santa very kindly wandered around the loveliest shops, buying me the most beautiful gifts for Christmas 2012. Anthropologie, Forever21 and Victoria's Secret were all top of the list! 2 of the goodies I unwrapped on Christmas morning were from Revlon; Revlon Colorstay foundation and Revlon Photoready concealer. Every Christmas, I always buy a pretty new outfit and dress up for our Christmas meal with the whole family - so this year I was eager to show off my newly made up face!

I am so surprised at how light the foundation is. I always worry about make up looking and feeling too heavy, but Revlon Colorstay feels moisturising and just using a tiny touch of it gives you coverage for the WHOLE day - not even lying (well it works for me, so...). Just like magic, it transforms my naturally pale complexion into a matte miracle which glows (with out leaving me orange like Amy Childs). I feel as though my skin looks much healthier since I have been using this product - thumbs up!

The second beauty inspired product I unwrapped was Revlon Photoready concealer. Anyone who knows me (so basically, my family and cat - Hi guys) knows that my eyes constantly look dead and the circles beneath them are darker than Voldemort's powers. I tend to draw under my eye with the stick concealer, letting the buttery texture glide, and then with my fingers I pat it over the foundation until it has blended in. From that very moment, I swear people could mistake me for a 6 year old who has drunk 2 litres of diet coke... I look much more than just ALIVE. It is a life saver in the most materialistic of ways. I also use it to brighten up any dark patches my face may be having!

Revlon Colorstay foundation in 330 natural tan (oily skin combination).

Revlon Photoready concealer in 002 light pale.

So that's two thumbs up and smiles all around!
